As seen in Table 3 above, In question number one “What pushes people to take drugs?” a number of policemen admitted that users probably take drugs because of problems at school, stress and because they are comfortable. Some of them had answered problems in the community and enjoyment. Majority of them answered needs attention, curiosity and problems at home.
In question number two “If you know someone who uses drugs, what did you do to help him?” some of them answered tell a trusted adult, forced him to go to a rehab center and forced them to stop taking drugs. These three had an equal number of tallies during the survey. Urges him to go to a drug campaign and encourage seeking help had an equal number of tally too. However, almost all of them think that the best thing to help is by making your friend understand the negative effects of drugs to our body.
In problem number three, “What are most of the crimes that people do when they take drugs?” Domestic Violence and drug trafficking is rarely observed and so is prostitution. Stealing and Killing are greatly observed but majority of them answered rape. Rape is common nowadays, even in television. Police officers think that drug use and rape are somewhat connected to each other.
In issue number four, “If you know someone who uses drugs, how old are they when they started using it?” although some answered 31 to 40 years old and 41 to fifty years old, they believed that teens are more prone to these kind of act. However, majority of them answered 21 to 30 years old.
In question number five, “What are the possible effects when people take drugs?” hallucination and harsh words are greatly observed. However, majority of their answers lies on improper hygiene.
In issue number six,”What did the local government/police do to lessen/stop the people who take drugs?” implementing sports festival and music festivals is greatly observed in Calape. It may be Summer Sports Tournament in the middle of April and Music festivals or Singing contest every May. Tokhang was also implemented by the baranggays nationwide. But, police officers believed that tokhang is only applicable when a person is already engage in drugs. The most appropriate way in stopi ng and preventing drug use among people is with the use of Anti-Drug Campaigns. Anti-drug Campaigns was associated by the police officers here in Calape to raise awareness among teenagers
In problem number seven, “What are the possible signs that you will see, if you encounter a drug user?” common signs that are observed when someone encounters a drug user are violence and red eyes. Both of these have equal number of tally. Depression and Always sleepy at day time are also seen among teens who are engaged in drugs. Mood swings and anxiety are believed to be felt by people who are feeling stress. However, majority of the answers lies in paranoia, another term for fear.
In question number eight, “If you are a policeman, an official of the local government, a health practitioner or a parent of a person who is engaged in drugs, what drugs are most commonly used nowadays?” Although psilocybin mushrooms, methamphetamine, cocaine and ecstasy are observed here in the local unit of Calape, majority of their answers lies on Shabu and Marijuana.
In problem number nine, “What are the possible ways/steps that a drug user should do if he wants to change his ways and decided to stop using drugs?” playing sports, joining anti-drug campaigns, playing music and finding a decent job are one of the ways. But if you are going to start with the primary step, majority of them suggest that rehabilitation is the first thing a drug user should do if he finally learned his lesson and decided to quit drugs. A police man suggested that if you are dealing with a teenager who is believed to be involved in drugs, he might need guidance counseling first.
Last question, “Where do drug users usually get money to buy drugs?” some of them answered from their parents and from a decent job. But since most of the drug users here in our community are jobless, majority of them answered that some of the money were in fact stolen.
